Abstract

We demonstrate the applicability of foundry-processed patch-antenna-coupled Si MOSFETs for the detection of radiation frequencies up to 9 THz. Detectors are implemented in several imaging systems which include raster-scan imaging with the ability of spectroscopic discrimination and real-time operational plane-to-plane imaging with direct detection and heterodyne mixing modalities.
