Colorimetric detection of ultratrace cholesterol by free standing inverse opal hydrogel films

Abstract

Free-standing inverse opal hydrogel films were constructed to colorimetrically detect ultratrace cholesterol. The detection level at 10−9 M has been demonstrated striking color change with 26nm shift of reflectance peak.
