Interrogation of gold-coated TFBG-SPR refractometers based on differential orthogonal light states

Abstract

A demodulation technique based on orthogonally polarized spectra of gold-coated tilted fiber Bragg gratings is proposed to measure the surrounding refractive index by comparing the differential amplitude of resonance peaks near a Plasmon resonance.
