Phase Error Correction for Digital Holographic Imaging

Abstract

The performance of various image sharpness metrics is compared, through simulation, for correcting phase errors in digital holographic or heterodyne array imaging of diffuse extended objects. The correction of anisoplanatic phase errors is demonstrated experimentally.
