Correcting Color Images for Stray-Light Effects by Computationally Solving an Inverse Problem via Selected-Ordinate Image (SORI) Processing

Abstract

Even small amounts of stray light adversely affect digital-camera color fidelity. We correct camera images by using a particular generalized point-spread function normalization and shift-variant convolution that is much faster than Fourier-based methods.
