Statistical Information Based Analysis of Lucy-Richardson Image Deconvolution

Abstract

We present a statistical information based analysis of the Lucy-Richardson iterative deblurring algorithm. By monitoring the information content of the reconstructed image, we furnish alternative criteria for assessing and stopping the algorithm.
