Demonstration of an Integrated Optical Equalizer for Direct Detection Links

Abstract

We demonstrate an on-chip optical equalizer for direct detection links. The proposed equalizer is experimentally shown to mitigate inter-symbol-interference for non- return-to-zero 28 Gbps transmission.
