Multimode interferometer based on a core-offset singlemode-multimode-singlemode fiber structure

Abstract

We propose an all-fiber multimode interferometer based on a core-offset SMS fiber structure, and demonstrate that the lateral core-offset value has a big impact on multimode interference and re-imaging phenomenon within it.
