Abstract

We propose the use of bank of parallel EKFs to jointly mitigate laser phase noise, frequency offset and nonlinearity in 200 Gbps PM-QPSK system. Simulations show that the speed requirement of ADCs can be reduced significantly compared to regular EKF.
