Abstract

We show that offset-16QAM CoWDM, when compared to 16QAM Nyquist WDM, exhibits advantages of reduced crosstalk levels, shorter memory lengths for electrical pulse-shaping filters, enhanced tolerance to filter bandwidth, and longer transmission reach.
