Abstract

We compare OFDM and Nyquist WDM multi-carrier transmission. Single-laser 26 Tbit/s OFDM and 32.5 Tbit/s Nyquist WDM transmission is reported. Experimentally we demonstrate a spectral efficiency of 18 bit/s/Hz.
