Abstract

A simple incoherent interferometry technique is demonstrated and applied for accurate real-time group-delay monitoring of a dispersion-compensating fiber and group-delay ripples of a 10m-long chirped fiber grating over up to 70nm-bandwidth at 15frames/s update rate.
