Optical polarization properties of InGaN and AlGaN-based quantum well structures

Abstract

Based on understanding of relationship among band structure, light polarization and extraction, angular intensity distributions of polarized light sources in quantum wells and their effects on extraction behavior of emissions from LEDs are presented.
