Approaches for Tailoring Organic LED Emission Patterns by Microoptics Arrays

Abstract

The emission pattern of large area organic LED sources needs to be adapted to intended applications. Different approaches using thin micro optical arrays are discussed to obtain significant deviations from the well-established Lambertian shape.
