Red Top-Emitting Organic Light-Emitting Diodes with 29 % External Quantum Efficiency Using Doped Charge Transport Layers and Optical Simulation

Abstract

We present highly efficient red top-emitting organic light-emitting diodes with an external quantum efficiency of 28.6 % at 1000 cd/m2. This high efficiency is obtained by electrical and optical optimization of the phosphorescent pin-structure.
