Spatial Division Multiplexing of Acoustic Sensors Using 7-Core Optical Fiber

Abstract

We use 7-core optical fiber containing Fabry-Perot interferometers for a spatial division multiplexing of acoustic sensors. The interferometers are inscribed in different cores of the fiber using the femtosecond point-by-point inscription technique.
