New fiber probes for biosensing and imaging

Abstract

Nonlinear contrast mechanisms such as 2photon fluorescence, second and third harmonic generation, transient absorption and stimulated Raman are widely developed in the context of label free microscopy to access morphological and chemical information. Here we focus on extending these imaging modalities into endoscope flexible probes, the latter being as small as the diameter of the fiber itself.
