Optical Properties of Yttrio-Alumino-Silicate Optical Fibers Co-doped with Chromium and Magnesium

Abstract

Yttrio-alumino-silicate fibers co-doped with Chromium and Magnesium are fabricated and their absorptive and fluorescent properties in VIS-to-NIR are studied, with most of attention being paid to the features adherent to Cr4+ ions.
