Abstract

Metallic nanoslit array has been designed for the design of multiplexed plasmonic sensor. A metallic nanoslit with embedded metallic nanoislands gives rise to multiple peaks, resulting from plasmonic waveguide mode. In response to the spacing between embedded metallic nanoislands, the wavelength peaks can be tuned. Metallic nanoslit array with embedded nanoislands with various spacing can be used for designing a multiplexed plasmonic sensor for multi-analyte detection.
