FM-to-AM effect induced by Mode interference in Low NA Large-Mode-Area Fiber

Abstract

The mode interference effect in large mode area fiber was investigated in the paper, the results shown that interference effect can induce output mode and spectral distortion, especially for phase modulated pulse, the temporal waveform can generate modulations on the top of the pulse.
