Enhanced Optical Parametric Gain by Cascading Periodically Poled Fiber Segments

Abstract

Numerical modeling shows that cascading multiple segments of periodically poled fiber without phase control can nonetheless improve non-degenerate optical parametric gain with high yield if sufficient idler filtering is applied in between segments.
