Record Wide Range Tuning of Slow Light Pulse in Photonic Crystal Coupled Waveguide via Turnup Chirping

Abstract

We fabricated the high-quality photonic crystal coupled waveguide with turnup index chirping formed by local heating. The maximum tuning range of slow light pulse was 103 ps and tunable buffering capacity was 22.
