Electrically Tunable Fast Light of 86 fs Pulses in Semiconductor Optical Amplifiers

Abstract

Large tunable advance of 6.5 pulses is achieved for an 86 fs pulse using non-linear processes in SOAs. Pulse width dependence of fast light is studied by gradually increasing the width to 1 ps.
