Comparison of Surface Shape Control Algorithms for Deformable Mirror

Abstract

Two surface shape control algorithms for deformable mirror, direct slope control and reconstruction-based control, are analyzed and compared both theoretically and numerically. It is shown that the latter one generally performs better and more stable.
