Abstract

Taking full advantage of the outstanding optical properties of self-assembled InGaAs quantum dots requires a highly sophisticated spin control technique. We develop and implement such a technique for optical spin locking, protecting a quantum state for much longer than the inhomogeneous dephasing time.
