Tunable Resonance in Flexible Plasmonic Nanostructures

Abstract

We demonstrate tuning of coupled plasmon resonances caused by stretching PDMS embedded gold nanorod heptamers. The nature of resonance depended on orientation of nanorods within heptamer. We present theoretical analysis to explain observed behaviors.
