Fractional high-order harmonic combs and energy tuning by split-spectrum field synthesis

Abstract

Combs of fractional high-order harmonics are generated by split-spectrum field control and explained by interference of two attosecond pulse trains. A change of the instantaneous laser frequency at the intensity maxima tunes the harmonics energies.
