Imaging photonic Bloch functions with plasmon-coupled leakage radiation

Abstract

We report results on imaging photonic Bloch wavefunctions in plasmonic crystals using plasmon-coupled leakage radiation. The surface images of the crystals are the result of an incoherent superposition of photonic Bloch wavefunctions.
