Abstract

Precise information about the structure of protein monolayers (thickness, bond orientation, dipole strength) can be obtained using difference-reflectivity spectroscopy of functionalized Fano-resonant asymmetric metamaterials. Experimental results for peptide, single-protein, and two-protein monolayers will be presented.
