Optimal quantum control for conditional rotation of exciton qubits in semiconductor quantum dots

Abstract

Pulse-shaping protocols are developed for a controlled-rotation gate in an InAs quantum dot with electronic structure calculated using k · p theory. The shaped pulses show a dramatic improvement in fidelity over transform-limited pulses.
