Seeded Femtosecond Supercontinuum in Kr Gas

Abstract

We observe spectral enhancement of femtosecond supercontinua in krypton gas using weak, nJ to µJ, seed pulses with the order of ~mJ pump pulses resulting in > 3× total energy enhancement and spectral broadening.
