Interaction between Metamaterial Resonators and Intersubband Transitions in Quantum Wells

Abstract

Interaction between metamaterial elements and intersubband transitions in GaAs/AlGaAs quantum wells is observed in the mid-infrared. Transmission measurements were performed through metamaterial arrays, each having a different resonance frequency.
