An Electrically Driven Entangled Light Source

Abstract

We demonstrate electrically-driven entangled photon generation using a semiconductor quantum dot embedded in a light emitting diode structure. The entanglement is shown to be of sufficient fidelity for applications such as quantum key distribution.
