Abstract

Harmonics up to the 15^th order are produced from solid targets using 3 mJ, 30 fs pulses focused to a spot size of 1.7 µm and 3×10¹⁸ W/cm². Combined conversion efficiency to the highest harmonics is > 10⁻⁵.
