High Harmonic Generation from Solid Targets at High Repetition Rate

Abstract

Harmonics up to the 15th order are produced from solid targets using 3 mJ, 30 fs pulses focused to a spot size of 1.7 µm and 3×1018 W/cm2. Combined conversion efficiency to the highest harmonics is > 10−5.
