Phase Shifted Multilevel Amplitude-Shift Keying for 100 Gb/s Ethernet Applications

Abstract

We propose a new modulation format for 100 Gb/s Ethernet applications. A ±49 ps/nm chromatic dispersion tolerance is achieved with a phase shifted multilevel amplitude-shift keying signal for 40 km single mode fiber transmission.
