Plasmon Enhancement of Photoinduced Resistivity Changes in Bi1-xCaxMnO3 Thin Films

Abstract

Considerable increase of the photoinduced resistivity changes was found in Bi0.4Ca0.6MnO3 thin films after depositing gold nanoparticles on the surface due to resonant enhancement of local electromagnetic field in the vicinity of the gold nanoparticles.
