A Λ-Type System for Electron Spins in a Mixed-Type GaAs/AlAs Quantum Well

Abstract

Coherent Zeeman resonance from electron spin coherence is demonstrated in a Λ-type three-level system, coupling electron spin states via trions. The use of a mixed-type quantum well allows the optical control of electron densities.
