Widely-tunable, confocal coherent anti-Stokes Raman spectrometer for THz-frequency modes in biomolecules

Abstract

A confocal coherent anti-Stokes Raman spectrometer was successfully applied to sensitive detection of THz-frequency modes in biomolecules (0.9-51 THz). Furthermore, it was found to be applicable even for powder samples by detecting backward signal.
