Cartesian decomposition of high-order Bessel beams: a new class of nondiffracting beams

Abstract

Based on the decomposition of high-order Bessel beams we demonstrated a class of beams which are solution of the exact Helmholtz equation in Cartesian coordinates. Our results suggest a new class of nondiffracting beams.
