Fluorescence Lifetime Studies of Terbium Doped Dipicolinic Acid (DPA) Using a High PRF UV Laser

Abstract

We have used a high-power, high-PRF laser to measure the relatively slower fluorescence lifetime of DPA by modeling the dynamic, time dependent population rate-equations of terbium doped dipicolinate in water. Good agreement was found.
