Experiment of Wavelength Conversion of Spectrum-Sliced ASE Broadband Source Using Highly Nonlinear Fibers

Abstract

We experimentally demonstrate wavelength conversion of spectrum-sliced broadband ASE light source based on hybrid four-wave mixing in a 1-km-long highly nonlinear fiber. The 3- dB conversion bandwidth is measured to be 38 nm.
