Anomalously fast decay of LH-HH exciton Raman coherence

Abstract

Three-beam four-wave mixing measurements of dephasing of the light-hole to heavy-hole exciton Raman coherence in GaAs quantum wells show that it is anomalously fast compared to dephasing of the optical coherences.
