Abstract

We investigate the structure shown in Figure 1, which consists of two channel waveguides coupled together by five equally spaced microresonators. We assume that light in the channels and in the resonator can be described by a mode profile with an effective index of refraction neff = 3.47, and a nonlinear index n2= 1.3× 10−1 m2/W, characteristic of GaAs.
