Abstract

Spatial solitons are structures that create their own waveguide, for this reason have important applications in optical communications. It has been shown numerically that a ring dark spatial soliton with a hyperbolic tangent evolve into ring grey soliton with decreasing or increasing radius. The resulting grey ring soliton is robust to perturbations and collisions with one dimensional dark soliton.
