Abstract

Special optical properties of porphyrins make them attractive for various photonic applications such as holographic data storage, optical power limiting and photodynamic therapy. One may suggest that the utility of porphyrins could he substantially increased by using instead oi the linear, a simultaneous two-photon absorption (TPA).
