Abstract

The possibility to induce local non-linear properties in organic materials by purely optical means1 has opened up a wide range of investigation and interesting perspectives towards polarization-independent non-linear quadratic materials,2 microcavities,3 quasi phase matching techniques4 and more generally molecular spectroscopy.5
