Abstract

In this report the propagation of a weak probe pulse in an optically dense medium in presence of strong coupling pulse, resonant to conjugated transition, is investigated. We consider the case when at the medium entrance both pulses have the identical shape, but duration of coupling pulse is greater than duration of probe pulse.
