Abstract

From a partial-differential eigenproblem, without use of dipole approximation, we show that the eigenmodes (surface plasmons) of disordered nanosystems (modeled as random planar composites) are not universally Anderson-localized, but can have properties of both localized and de-localized states simultaneously.
