Abstract

The detection of mid-infrared (IR) light in the wavelength range of 10 μm using semiconductor quantum well devices has been studied extensively over the last decade.1 Efficient detection in this in frequency range is of particular interest for various applications, but difficult to achieve for higher temperatures than a few Kelvin. This work suggests the use of quantum interference effects for efficient detecting in this spectral range.
