Abstract

The nonlinear optical properties of small nanoscale semiconductors has been a topic of interest in the recent years. Nanoclusters of semiconductor materials embedded in a dielectric host material may be considered as a particular example of effective media materials or conditional artificial dielectrics (CADs).1
